INTERNSHIP 1:
Integrate a centralized logging solution for all applications/services used by dgenious.
This internship is in the dgenious offices in Brussels.
The goal of the internship is to create a solution that can centralize all the different logging sources used at dgenious. Indeed, with a clear objective of being a 100% cloud and 100% serverless SAAS solution, the export of logs is essential to achieve a complete monitoring of our applications.
The solution will have to meet present and future needs in terms of flexibility and functionality.
AWS S3 and cloud watch services are being considered. This will of course have to be evaluated by the student in a critical research approach.
It will be necessary to understand the technologies used, to appropriate them and to think of an integration in a new architecture.
We are expecting of the student:
- An understanding and use of the existing software architecture
- Creation of a new workflow adapting to present/future needs
- Test and validate their work
The student will be fully integrated into the dgenious development team. The student will have to show initiative. It is expected that he/she has ownership of the project.

Internship 2 :
Create a CI/CD pipeline that can compile / test / deploy all dgenious applications
This internship is in the dgenious offices in Brussels.
Internship description:
The goal of the internship is to create a CI/CD pipeline allowing the compilation and export of the various applications of dgenious. Indeed, with the objective of 100% cloud and 100% serverless SAAS solution, the deployment system must be completely rethought and reworked. It must be able to handle multiple sources and convert/export them to various destination (docker image, APT package, …).
One approach considered is the use of AWS CodePipeline (CodeCommit/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy). This will of course have to be evaluated by the student in a critical research approach.
It will be necessary to understand the technologies used, to appropriate them and to think of an integration in a new architecture.

Intership 3:
Create a ML/AI model adapted to chain stores reporting
This internship is in the dgenious offices in Brussels.
Internship description:
The goal of the internship is to understand the needs/possibilities of analytics using ML/AI for retail chains. Then, to implement a solution and to make it available in the dgenious application. Thus, the student will have a vision of the entire ML/AI stack at dgenious from customer need to realization.
This ML/AI project must be usable and implemented at the end of the internship. The student is thus expected to have a practical/technical focus rather than a theoretical one.

Frontend development, improvements of a reporting application (UI/UX)
This internship is in the dgenious offices in Brussels.
Internship description:
The objective of the internship is to perform a complete refactoring of some reporting elements used at dgenious (both logically and visually). Indeed, a central element of our solution is the visualization of customer data in reports using a web client or our mobile application.
It will be necessary to understand the technologies used, to appropriate them and to think about the integration of the new tools. The added elements will have to be integrated in an existing workflow and must be able to evolve according to the needs.
